The final blend is 98% Cabernet Sauvignon, with 2% Petit Verdot blended in for additional aromatic and textural complexity. The overall impression is one of flamboyant, ripe, lush fruit and soft, caressing tannins. On the nose, the wine exhibits thick, rich aromas of blackberry, raspberry coulis and black cherry, with subtle hints of creamy vanilla.
